Join us at Hall Park in Riverside, Iowa, for Trekfest's 39th annual costume/cosplay contest.  Prizes will be awarded for the top Star Trek costumes. 

This  event will begin after the parade has concluded and all the  participants have been registered for the contest.  Registration is free, and anyone can join.

Please keep costumes event-friendly, as people of all ages will be present. 

Event Categories will be posted as the date gets closer.  We look forward to seeing you at Trekfest in Riverside, Iowa!

Prepare to embark on an away mission as we explore Riverside's local landmarks, businesses, and Trek-themed locations to celebrate the 40th year of Trekfest!

Remember to take a photo of yourself at each designated location listed on our scavenger hunt handouts. You can pick up the handouts at the Voyage Home History Center, City Hall, and the Shipyard Beer Tent in Hall Park. After visiting all the sites, head back to the Shipyard Beer Tent to show your selfies and claim your prize. On Saturday evening, we will award one Grand Prize before the fireworks (you must be present to win).

Join us for fun with Absolute Sciences Mega Foam Blaster. It's a dry stacking foam that evaporates for easy cleanup. It shoots out 40 feet and rotates 180 degrees. The foam is non-slippery, non-toxic, non-staining, non-allergenic, and is also bio-degradable. It is fun for all ages, as well as the environment.

This event is setup for children under 5 to have the first thirty minutes then get opened up to all age groups for the remaining hour and a half. 5 and under 5:30pm till 6:00pm then open to all age groups after until 7:30pm when the event ends. 

This event will be located behind the food tent area.

Shine and Show (Car, Truck, Tractor, and Motorcycle Show) - Trekfest 40

Please join us during the Parade and then show off your Car, Tractor, or Motorcycle. Vehicles will finish the parade route then turn right down South Hickory St. Then turn Right again onto River St. and continue through the 4-way stop intersection then someone will help guide you where to park and show off your Vehicle. 

Parade Registration begins at 8:00am at F&M Bank.
